The Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development has published a summary of their two global surveys conducted in 2021 on clinical research staff diversity at investigative sites. The aim of the study was:
- To gather baseline measures of clinical research staff diversity at investigative sites, globally; analyze the
operational capabilities of a wide variety of investigative sites; and gather healthcare professionals’ perceptions
of clinical research. - To inform sponsors and other stakeholders in the drug development process how to support greater staff
diversity and increased patient diversity within investigative sites.
