ARMA announces new Chief Executive
ARMA’s Board of Directors is delighted to announce that Alasdair Cameron will be joining the Association as their new Chief Executive Officer.
This follows a significant Finance & Governance Review exercise carried out by the Association earlier this year which recommended the appointment of a CEO and enhanced senior management team.
Alasdair currently leads the West of Scotland Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Centre which is a centre of excellence for the support of KTPs across 4 academic partners located around Glasgow. In the past he has represented the KTP community as Chair of the National Forum. Alasdair will be well known to many in the wider Knowledge Exchange community through his role as Executive Director of AURIL and more recently as Director of Strategic Engagement with PraxisAuril.
Announcing the appointment, Jennifer Johnson, Chair of ARMA said,”Earlier this year, ARMA’s Board accepted the recommendation of our governance review, to appoint a CEO to support the Board and lead the Executive Office team in delivery of our strategic plan. This role will be critical in ARMA’s next phase of development as we seek to amplify the voices of members for policy development, collaborate with stakeholders across the sector and grow income to enable delivery of more of the services that our members ask for. As an established strategic leader with a strong background in the sector, Alasdair is an excellent appointment for ARMA and I very much look forward to working with him.”
Alasdair Cameron added,”I’m excited about joining ARMA as their new CEO and working with the team to develop our services to members. I’m looking forward to getting to know the community and doing everything I can to ensure they are equipped for success.”
Alasdair Cameron takes up his post on November 1st.
