ARMA’s Annual Mentoring Programme has proved very successful, with our most recent programme supporting 39 mentoring pairs. But the programme doesn’t just run itself! We have a small Mentoring Working Group, who are responsible for reviewing and monitoring the programme, developing and facilitating the induction and peer support sessions, reviewing the guidance and support for those taking part, and, most important of all, matching mentors with their mentees.
We now have two vacancies to fill in this Working Group and we are keen to hear from you! The expected time commitment per year for members is approximately six days, with the biggest time commitment required late summer / early Autumn. You can read the Working Groups Terms of Reference for more information. You are not required to be a member at the time of application but should become one prior to taking up the position.
If you would like to help us with one of ARMA’s flagship programmes, send an expression of interest statement (no more than 400 words), indicating what experience you have of mentoring, why you would like to join the working group and what you feel you would bring to the role. The closing date for expressions of interest has been extended to 5pm on Wednesday 26 June 2024. Please send your expression of interest to nicole@arma.adwise-staging.com (subject line: ‘Mentoring Working Group vacancies).
