Pebbles and Ripples at the 2024 International Research Culture Conference

Dr Marie Sams, Head of the National Centre for Research Culture, University of Warwick. Marie has 25 years of experience in higher education. At the NCRC, she is responsible for driving forwards the NCRC strategic objectives and operationalising activities, as well as raising research culture visibility nationally. She is passionate about supporting more women into research leadership roles and improving wellbeing for researchers.

Dr Chandrika Nair, Research Culture Manager, University of Warwick. With a PhD in Microbiology (Imperial College London), Rika transitioned from research to championing research culture, recognising the need for diverse roles to enable excellence. At Warwick, she manages institutional initiatives, including a new programme for interdisciplinary research, leads the Research Culture Enablers Network, and curates a knowledge exchange LinkedIn group.
