ARMA Research Development SIG Panel Discussion: A Funder’s Perspective

23rd April, 14:00 – 15:00 via Zoom

This panel discussion and Q&A session and is an opportunity for SIG members to get together and hear a funder’s perspective on a variety of topics. The event will not be recorded.

The panel will consist of:

•         Vicki Crossley, University of Nottingham, previously UKRI

•         Naomi Elster, Prostate Cancer Research

•         Ken Emond, The British Academy

•         Sarah McDonald, University of Sussex, previously Blood UK

There will be one or two prompt questions to get the discussion started but the we will be inviting questions and topics from SIG members through Padlet on anything they have ever wanted to know about from a funder’s point of view.  Topics could cover things like, what happens when the ‘submit’ button is pressed, what it’s like working for funders or career opportunities and skills overlap.
