ARMA Research Evaluation SIG Drop-In Session: Randomisation in funding allocation

Event Details
This drop-in session will focus on randomisation: the use of a lottery to make decisions about funding allocation. This new method has been trialled and is increasingly considered by funders as a way to reduce the burden on assessors and make the process fairer for all applicants. The goal of this session is to hear about experiences with this approach and to discuss both its opportunities, such as for internal funding allocation, and the challenges ahead.
