Please Note: Everyone who submits an expression of interest will be invited to attend the initial presentation and Q&A. Numbers will however be capped for the breakout groups, so please indicate which breakout group discussion you would like to attend. Unfortunately, we may be unable to accept everyone for the breakout groups.

This event will provide an introduction to the Royal Society and the funding opportunities on offer, as well as details of what the Society is doing to support research careers and encourage collaboration and innovation. Speakers will also discuss recent portfolio changes and upcoming opportunities. Attendees will have the chance to ask the Grants funding team questions after the presentation.

This will be followed by breakout sessions where attendees can contribute to discussions on the below:

• Feedback on the Royal Society’s processes and systems
• How the Royal Society can work better with universities to support research careers
• Collaborating internationally – current challenges in a changing landscape
