ARMA is working with The Office for National Statistics (ONS) to provide exclusive and free webinars to directly benefit our members.
The first of these webinars covered how research managers and administrators can support researchers to get connected to the Secure Research Service (SRS). The SRS is a trusted research environment supplied by the ONS, which contains a wealth of unpublished administrative and survey data.
This service is increasingly utilised by the leading research organisations across the UK and Northern Ireland, and in this presentation, Simon Hutchinson, Head of Assured Organisational Connectivity for the SRS, gives an explanation of the service and the value it offers to researchers. He covers the access methods available and the benefits of more flexible connectivity solutions which can maximise the researcher’s opportunities to deliver results quickly and effectively.
Finally Simon takes us through the process for application, including best practice and next steps. To skip to your area of interest, timestamps have been supplied below.
