The International Network of Research Management Societies has announced a further extension for ARMA members to complete its internationally -significant Research Administration as a Profession (RAAAP) longitudinal survey.

The international RAAAP survey asks questions about your experience as a research manager / research administrator, your most recent role, how you entered the field, your experience of research impact and engagement, and demographics (on your educational background, the country where you work, your age range, and gender).

The RAAAP-3 HIBARMA Survey takes around 20 minutes to complete, and you can pause half way through and continue later.

This survey finally closes on 15 April, so do please take some time to complete it before then.

Research Administration as a Profession (RAAAP) is an international survey which seeks to identify the key skills, attitudes and behaviours of successful research management and administration (RMA) leaders.

The initial RAAAP survey, held in 2016, was funded by NCURA.  It was led by Simon Kerridge (University of Kent, UK) and Stephanie Scott (Columbia University, USA) as Co-PIs, and supported by an international advisory group.  

In June 2018, the Council of the International Network of Research Management Societies (INORMS), of which ARMA is an active member, formally endorsed the RAAAP survey as an INORMS initiative.

This survey is unique. By completing it, you will be contributing to a snapshot of how our profession is currently looking in the world today,
